Meat and Horn Packaging Services

Please use this page to order meat packaging items to return home.

You can wait and pay for this after you arrive and get a caribou. but we do need to know if you would like the service in advance so we can bring enough tape and boxes etc. Please add a note if you would like this service and you can pay for it later if needed so we don't have to refund a bunch of money. Meat boxes will need to be bought prior so we can purchase them. We only mark them up $2.00 from what we pay for them for hauling them up and having them on hand.

MEAT PACKAGING Prices are $30 per hunter to box the meat for flight. You can bring your own stuff to package meat if you'd rather you do not have to use us, you'll need a roll of duct tape, sharpie, trash bags etc to meet the flying requirements.

HORN WRAPPING SERVICE: This is putting card board on the horns, and or bubble wrap and wrapping the head in plastic and garbage bags to meet airline approval. This is more time consuming and we charge $50. per hunter for this. You can pay for this later but just know if you don't bring the tape and bubble wrap you have to have done to fly your horns home. Duct Tape is $27.00 a roll in Prudhoe Bay and bubble wrap is not an option up there you will need to fly it up etc.

BOXING DETAILS: Boxes are $18.00 each and you will need at least 2 per hunter or 2 per caribou to get your meat home, and might need one more for cape if Caribou is a larger caribou. We must know if you will want us to bring the boxes up for you as we only bring as many that are preordered etc. Please let us know you want them so we can bring them. Best best is to buy boxes now and later pay for the services after you harvest caribou.

Let me explain in more details what this is and how it works and why you might need it. We offer a packaging service that we will have to do in the city limits of Prudhoe Bay where we can take your meat that you send out of the field with your outfitters early before you come out of the field. You can let us know if you want to have us put your meat bags in the proper boxes and bags for flight. We will put your meat in the box and then drop it at the freezer place like carlisle or alaska air cargo so it's frozen and ready to fly.

we can also wrap your horns for flight also and send to the freezer place for storage until your ready to fly etc.

please note, meat will be packages how it is received. I will not clean or debone any meat, that must be done prior to packaging.

Meat MUST be received in this way; Inside a game bag with your Last name and First initial etc. also label each bag with a number so we can verify we have them all before packaging 1 of 2 or 1 of 3 etc.... This will be described before you go into the field.

If you come out the same day meat service will vary. It is designed for you to send meat out of the field early but can be done same day if not in a hurry. If rushed we can give you the boxes and you can pay a fee for the tape etc and help us box it to get it ready in time etc.

These services are required to be done in the city limits of town so we have to allow for time to do that. We can give you more details after you book your gear.

BOXES must be prepaid. we only bring up enough boxes that are paid for. Also please note that you will book this service but will have to pay in the field please bring cash for these services. or prepared to venmo.
