Welcome to Brooks Range Camp Rentals (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website or renting equipment from us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Rental Agreement

 

By renting gear from Brooks Range Camp Rental, you agree to comply with all terms outlined in this agreement. The renter (“you”) assumes full responsibility for all rented equipment from the time of pickup or delivery until it is returned and inspected by our staff.

2. Eligibility

 

You must be at least 18 years old to rent equipment. A valid government-issued photo ID and payment method may be required.

3. Reservations & Payments

    •    Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

    •    Reservations are subject to availability.

    •    We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

    •    Cancellations made 90 days before the rental start date may be eligible for a 80% refund, minus any processing fees.

    •    Cancellations made within 30 days of the rental start date are non-refundable.

    •    No refunds will be issued for early returns, weather conditions, travel delays, or unused rental time.

5. Use of Equipment

    •    All equipment must be used only for its intended purpose.

    •    You agree to follow all safety guidelines, manufacturer instructions, and applicable laws.

    •    Equipment may not be modified, subleased, or transferred to another party.

    •    You assume all risks associated with the use of the equipment, including risks related to wilderness, weather, wildlife, and remote terrain common in Alaska.

• Equipment is tested and assured to be free of malfunctions and flaws, if issues arise, most commonly being a user error with the buddy heaters, we will not bring out a new one. Please be confident in your ability or have someone who is in your group who is, to set up, and operate camp gear. If you have any questions please let us know prior to drop off.

6. Loss, Damage & Cleaning Fees

 

You are responsible for returning all equipment in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear.

 

You may be charged for:

    •    Lost or stolen equipment (replacement cost)

    •    Damaged equipment (repair or replacement cost)

    •    Excessive dirt, blood, odors, moisture, or improper cleaning

    •    Missing parts or accessories

 

A security deposit may be held or charged as needed.

8. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

 

You acknowledge that outdoor activities such as hunting, camping, and backcountry travel involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, property damage, or death.

 

By renting equipment from Brooks Range Camp Rentals, you:

    •    Assume full responsibility for all risks

    •    Release and hold harmless Brooks Range Camp Rentals, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or injuries arising from use of the equipment

9. Indemnification

 

You agree to indemnify and defend Brooks Range Camp Rentals against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses resulting from your use or misuse of rented equipment.

10. Weather & Environmental Conditions

 

We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or damages caused by weather, wildlife encounters, transportation issues, or other conditions beyond our control.

    •    All content on this website is the property of Brooks Range Camp Rentals.

    •    You may not copy, reproduce, or misuse content without written permission.

    •    We do not guarantee that the website will be error-free or uninterrupted.
